Valorant Student Team
Casa Noturna was named the top Valorant Student Team in the UK at the Red Bull Campus Clutch UK Grand Final, held at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Valorant Student Team. The UK Champions overcame Last Dance in a nail-biting 2:0 Grand Final to qualify for the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Finals in Brazil this December. Casa Noturna will now compete for €20,000 in prize money and a unique VIP experience at a VALORANT Champions Tour event in 2023.

The North Final between Casa Noturna and Birmingham Bulls was a nail-biter as the two equally matched sides battled for momentum. Casa Noturna finally won the Grand Final 2-1, with the team pulling off a miraculous comeback from 8-1 down on the third map to win 10-13.
The Grand Final began on Ascent for the Valorant Student Team, where Casa Noturna took an early lead with a 13-5 victory, setting up a dramatic second map on Pearl. Last Dance rallied back to take an early 6-1 lead and seemed to carry the match all the way, but Casa Noturna dug in and won the match 13-8.
“We had a very challenging run today, Birmingham Bulls were strong opponents and Last Dance were difficult as well,” Casa Noturna’s Ben ‘Benzki’ Price stated, reflecting on their path to victory at the Valorant Student Team. I believe we have a pretty excellent squad here; all of the lads did a great job, even if they were in positions they wouldn’t ordinarily play on. They maintained their cool under pressure, and I believe that is why we were able to win this afternoon.”
The Finals were streamed live on The Goose House, hosted by Matt ‘Twiggy’ Twigg and Vicki ‘Gottmoxi’ Johnson, and after the event, Gottmoxi stated, “I think they have a really good chance of winning the whole tournament in December – they showed today that they can adapt really well on each map, they have a brilliant agent pool, and they were able to pull out all the stops and turn things in their favor whenever they needed to which is a Valorant Student Team.
The Red Bull Campus Clutch competition began in August, with National Qualifiers held across the world and National Finals recognizing the top student team from each participating nation. This year’s competition has so far attracted over 4,500 teams, 25,000 players, and over 300 national events.
Soon, just 50 teams will be left, all of them will fly to Sao Paulo, Brazil, for this epic in-person LAN final at the Valorant Student Team. Over 400 players from 81 teams competed in regional qualifying rounds to reach the UK Final, with four qualifying champions earning a spot in the LAN Finals at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London.
The Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final will be held between December 13th and 16th, 2022, with the final stages live broadcast on Red Bull Twitch. 50 teams will begin off the tournament at Estádio do Pacaembu, which was notably utilized for numerous games during the 1950 World Cup, with the first group stage matches taking place from the 13th to the 14th. The remaining teams will then compete in an elimination style, with the Grand Final taking place on December 16th for the Valorant Student Team.
Red Bull Campus Clutch’s official UK public transportation partner is National Express. National Express, the UK’s largest coach business, is assisting qualifying athletes in traveling to the UK final by providing free transport on its UK network.
